Repairs to Uneven Surface on Route Adams

Construction work was recently carried out in Route Adams to connect building 777 to the technical gallery which runs beneath the road. Due to particularly dry conditions over the summer, followed by the rain over the past few weeks, the road has settled and deformed beyond acceptable limits.

The road’s current condition is impacting daily operations and the safe transport of equipment, so work is being done to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Steel distribution plates were installed last week to improve safety for light vehicles and cyclists. These temporary measures were put in place in order to mitigate the risks as quickly as possible while a more robust solution is organised. Hot asphalt works are planned for w/c 07/09/26 which will restore normal, safe use of the road.

This matter remains a high priority for the project team, and we are fully committed to resolving it as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in the meantime.
