Timber frame installation begins

We’re pleased to share that the timber frame installation for B777 is now underway on site. This is an exciting development, as the building’s frame begins to take shape. The concrete works for the foundations and staircores have been gradually progressing for the past 10 months, preparing the site for the timber superstructure.

B777 is designed with sustainability at its heart. By using timber as the primary material for the frame and slabs, we’re reducing the project’s carbon footprint and supporting a more eco-friendly approach to construction. Timber is not only renewable but also stores carbon, making it a smart choice for a building that aims to be as kind to the environment as it is functional.

The Benefits of Timber
  • Carbon Storage: Timber naturally absorbs and stores CO₂, helping to offset emissions.
  • Lightweight: Timber is more lightweight than other building materials, resulting in less extensive foundations.
  • Renewable and Responsible: Sourced from sustainably managed forests, it aligns with our environmental values.
  • Energy Efficient: Timber’s thermal properties contribute to better insulation, reducing energy use over time.

With the timber frame now being installed, B777 is entering a new phase of construction. This progress brings us closer to completing a building that reflects our dedication to sustainability, innovation, and quality.
