Consortium with Henning Larsen wins competition to design CERN’s Building 777

CERN is pleased to announce that an international consortium led by Henning Larsen has won the architectural competition to design Building 777, a new state-of-the-art facility on the Prévessin site. The building will play a central role in supporting CERN’s future scientific activities and providing modern workspaces for staff and collaborators.
The design, as part of the tender, prioritises collaboration, community, and well-being, while setting ambitious goals for low-carbon construction and energy efficiency.
